In 2015 I spent an entire summer working as a videographer, editor, and roadie all in the name of an online pre-broadcast show that featured before the NBCSports or NBC broadcast of AMA Professional Motocross. The sixteen race circuit went from May to September and made stops East to West and everywhere in between. I learned quickly how fast our deadlines came and went, and just exactly how much behind the scenes work was involved in a live broadcast production. It was a great opportunity to learn just how a network team works. It was also the first time I had my own footage featured on network television. The video above is an example of the sort of content my colleagues and I generated all summer.
The link below is a compilation of our footage from the summer, put together by the Pre-Race show producer and my superior, Matt Wozney.
